Backup & Recovery Files

I have am Inspiron 660 Desktop, I suspect the Dell - Backup and recovery feature is filling up my 120 Gig SSD  drive.

Where can I find in my C:\   -  SSD  to delete some of the "Old"  Backup Files.?

Hi 2slick4u,

Please share the source that indicates 120 GB of space is being used by the Dell Backup and Recovery application.

Dell Backup and Recovery is capable of backing up data on a different partition or an external drive with only the premier version of the application. Please share the version of application installed on your system.

Also, in case windows backup and recovery is on, the system automatically backs up data on the default location set for the backup. Please check if the Windows Backup option is ‘On’ or ‘Off’.

  • Open ‘Control Panel’ in Category View, and click ‘System and Security’
  • Click ‘Backup and Restore’
  • If the option is on, click ‘Turn off Schedule’ in the left pane.
Please share the operating system installed.

Keep me posted with the information. I will be glad to assist you further.
