Boot from PCI sata controller card on Optiplex GX 260
I took home a Optiplex GX260 to turn into a Windows Home Server and I have a question. I'm going to toss in a sata drive to replace the ide drive but the only way to do this would be to use a PCI SATA controller card. Will the Dell boot from the PCI card? Is there a setting the BIOS that will allow to me adjust this? Thanks

This little beauty works great in my Dim 8200. I now boot to a primary SATA drive.
I am going to assume that it would also work in your Optiplex GX260 as well.

Just make sure you have the latest BIOS for your model and then change the setting in the BIOS that allows you to boot from the new controller card.
