Bose SoundLink Mini - Bluetooth connection pb
I'm running a XPS 8500 on Windows 7 64bits.
I just upgraded all: BIOS, Chipset and most of the drivers suggested by the Dell product support portal. In other words, I tend to believe my desktop should be all good.
I have a Bose SoundLink Mini. It connects without any sort of problem with my iPad and Nexus phone.
The device is findable by my desktop and I can pair it. However when I play music nothing seems to come through... even if I push the volume to max.
On my desktop, when I open the Volume Mixer, change the Device to my bluetooth paired device, double click on it to reach the Speakers properties and select the Advance tab, there is a "test" button. When I click in "test"I can indeed hear 2 beeps but that's about it. The volume is really low.
I have been in touch with Bose support they claim it's the OS driver. I have seen many posts in different forums and I'm now just wondering if anyone has finally figured out how to make that work?
Thanks
