CT4780 - Unknown conector?

Question

O.K, I have a Sound Blaster CT4780 from my old Dell Dimension which I have put in my shiny new PC.  It works beautifully and Im very happy. However..  There is a 10 pin connector located on the bracket side of the CD and AUX 4 pin connectors and I cant identify what it is!  I have had a look at the manual, and although everything else seems to match,  this connector does not appear in the documentation. I vaguely remember it feeding back into the motherboard but it cant be that essential?  as I said everything seems to be operating.   Can anyone identify this for me?

If the old Dell came with a front panel Headphone jack, that may be the connection for that.  Dell uses custom SoundBlaster card models, made only for Dell, and they have the custom connector.

the 10 pin connector is a creative oem connector for front panel headphone/mic use
