Can one add connectors to an Precision 490
I wish to install a graphic card wich required two PCI-E connectors, there is only one on my desktop.
Or two HD connectors, as I have 3 disks installed, I do not have those spare connectors, can I do something to solve this problem.

Each PCIE Power connector is supposed to allow 150W of use.
2 connectors means the card uses 300W power.
Tapping other connectors does not change a 300W power supply into an 800W power supply.
So the answer is no you should not do this.
One way around this issue is to use a 5.25 inch CDROM BAY to add an additional power supply.
