Can't play Games after fresh Reinstall
Can someone tell me what I need to do, or the drivers that I need to download to be able to play games
After I installed my game, it shows it loading then I hear a ding and it never opens.
Already says I have DirectX 8.1 higher when I tryed DLing it, but sometimes it says I need this still.

all those question marks indicate you need to install drivers. Go here for your video driver:
http://support.amd.com/us/Pages/AMDSupportHub.aspx
but first go to dell support for your computer type (enter your service tag) and download and install your mother boards chipset. The chipset should take care of a few of the ?'s Then ck the download list and download anything else you may need. There's a graphics driver there I'm sure.
Installing a fresh copy of XP is only the beginning. Make sure you go to windows update and install all the high priority updates.
Well this should keep you busy for a bit. Let me know when your done.

Do you have XP or Vista? What video card do you have?

Xp and my video card is unknown every where I look. Device manager has question marks next to it and it says unknown thorugh dispay in my computer
and I've tried DLing 3 different games so its not just that one. They all say I need DirectX either 6 or 8.1 or higher. When I try to dl direct it says I already have it.
I just found out to the dell website that i have a Radeon X600 256mb video card, but it still doesnt show on my comp.
