Cooler Master's Wave Master was chosen by Maxinum PC for Dream Machine 2003. I like the less *bling bling* Lian Li. Understated, yet elegant. Gamers will probably will want a Cooler Master. The Antec is really uber boring and they all look the same.
ATX is a standard that allows you to know a given MB will fit in a case you are considering.
I would buy an Antec with a high wattage PS included Tru380, Tru430. If your building a system with a high performance MB you will appreciate the Quality and wattage down the road.
Good time now to watch for deals. You get a quality case for very little, when you consider what others are spending for just the PS. If you have the space the full tower Antec models have a larger air mass to move the heat, allow for installation of additional fans, if required, and come with the larger PS included.
If you're buying a case built for the future, you need at least a 480W powersupply. The Prescotts need a tremendous amount of power and cooling. Antec, Compucase, Chieftec, and Chenbro have cases with good airflow. Antec, Fortron, and Sparkle are powerful stable powersupplies. When you look at powersupplies, pay attention to the 12V output instead of the total output.
I originally got an Antec Sonata. I did get bored with the case. It's located on a large table right next to me, so I look at it all day long.
I moved the Tru380 PS and everything else into a case with windows on the left side and top and fans left side and top. Blue lights down left and right side front came stock and I added a blue light in the case.
The P4 2.8 stock fan was noisy in the Sonata and still is in the new case. Plan to get a more efficient and quiet HS soon.
I feel like a 60 year old teenager but it is a lot more fun.

Look for a case with dual 120 mm cooling fans. They will move more air with less noise. Check out the Sonata case.

The Sonata, made by Antec. Those plastic faceplates look rather dismal (IMHO).
I do agree about the dual 120 mm cooling fans though. I have those in my Gaming rig.
