Thanx for your response. Yup, I'm willing to put in the effort. At the same time requested a free CD/DVD from Ubuntu Official Website, today. To help as well.
Sorry, forgetting those things that you mention in your response to me here.
Computer Model: Dimension E510. Design for Windows XP Home, but was comparability to Vista. Bought and installed Windows Vista Home Premium when it 1st came out.
Basically, installed Ubuntu along with Windows Vista. Now unsure if I can have another system besides the original one. At the same time its Intel Processor Pentium D inside of it.
I have no clue what you are asking. I use Ubuntu. It works well on my 9 year old desktop PC and my 5 year old laptop. If you are using your laptop for email and internet then Ubuntu is perfectly fine. You have to be willing to put in the effort as there is a learning curve.
Tried it again. Worked for a little bit, but in end it didn't worked out for me.
Closed Source and Open Source
Recently uninstalled Ubuntu again because having such a hard time with it. Now, I'm wondering is there any difference/s between closed source and open source. Since I already used Firebox and Wikipedia.

Cannot really help, unless to tell us your computer model and the version of windows, that's installed.
Are you saying, that you installed Ubuntu, then removed it and reinstalled the original operating system?
