I'm afraid your hard drive is dead. Sorry about that. Those error codes are zeros, not the letter O. You'll need a new hard drive and you'll have to install the operating system onto the new drive. Please let me know what other information you need to get your desktop up and running.
My system got all the icons on desktop and then went to a black screen with a dash blinking.
I did that a few times so then I went to F12 for a boot setup testing
This is the error code I got OFOO:O75D
MSG Disk_O SATA Disk S/N-S1OZEJ1MPC18747
Then I got another error code OFOO:0244

Please post the computer model.
The hard drive showing "Read Test", Error Codes 0F00:0244 and 0F00:075D is failing/failed and you need to replace it.
If there's a Dell warranty in effect, contact Dell's Technical Support for a replacement, no warranty, you will need to buy the replacement and install it yourself.
I have seen this happen before to perfectly good drives, meaning the drive does not fail, the controller does. Sleep and or hibernate is usually the culprit. For some reason Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 will erroneously save power by turning off the drive controller. Yes, a bit of a pain. My solution was to go into power settings and NEVER let the drive go to sleep, only the monitor. I hope this is your problem and not a bad drive.
Inspirton 530.....My computer is working now but it makes a low noice all the time. Is that the hard drive?

I have no idea what's making the noise, could be a hard drive and/or a fan, you need to open the case and check all the components for noise, to find out
Also, try running Dell Diagnostics extended test on the hard drive and keep the data files and folders back-ups to other media current.
