Creative Sound Blaster Drivers
Hi, I have a Dell Insiron 530 and a few days ago I installed Windows 7. My PC has a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy MB Advanced on-board sound card. Do I need to install drivers for this?

Th SoundBlaster Advanced MB is ONLY a software enhancement to the RealTek integrated (on the motherboard) Audio. Dell does not support Windows 7 on this model, however they have Vista drivers and the Vista drivers should work without problems. There are Vista 32 bit and Vista 64 bit drivers on the downloads, select the appropriate Bit that you are using.
Along with the RealTek drivers, the Intel (motherboard) chipset drivers must be installed first, if you didn't install them. The chipset drivers are listed on the downloads too.
Actually the install sequence is (1) Install Windows (2) Install Dell Desktop System Software (3) Install Chipset Drivers (4) Install Device drivers including video, sound, ethernet, etc. After you get the sound installed you can then install the SoundBlaster software.
Dell Downloads for I530 Note there are different downloads depending on the version of the 530 you have.
