Hihi!

My friend recently got given a Dell 2400 the other day, and he wanted to use it for gaming. As he had no internet either, he was offered to use someones wireless internet in the area. So, this is what happened:

He brought a Belkin wireless network card, and connected to the offered network, no problems, next we got a pci grahpics card to allow him better fps than the intergrated video of the mobo. So all was good for most of the day after that. Later, he comes to me saying its freezing, and hes getting bugs with some software (e.g - Teamspeak). So I went over, had a look. He said it had been working fine all day, then just started playing up. My first assumption was it was MaCafee that came with the setup (I just generally dont like the program) so I removed it, but still not solved the problem.

We then both agreed that the computer comes with a lot of junk software that will never be used, so we went for a fresh restart. But instead of restarting using the dell method so all the programs that come with the package are also installed, we went for using an XP disk, and starting over with no added bonuses. I guessed if I needed any drivers, I could just get them from wherever! So after setting XP up, and putting in the software/drivers for the new graphics card, and restarting, the screen was set to 4-bit (low) colour and couldnt be changed, which I then clocked; "we're gonna need the mobo drivers" So next, install the wireless network card software/drivers and get on the internet. Then the freezing began again; uninstalled wireless network card, no freezing. So we found the reason for the freezing, which will have to be solved after I find some mobo drivers.

So here I am looking for some, its late now too, so I cant view his computer, but I cant seem to find any Dell 2400 mobo drivers. Where can I get these drivers? Will it just be the drivers I need, or is there a bigger problem awaiting me? Also the built-in audio isnt working, which leads me to assume the mobo needs drivers, but I'm thrown off by the the pci graphics card giving me 4-bit colour and rubbish res, while without the drivers I can get 16-bit colour. Some things arent adding up, so I've come to the place where I can get the best anwsers :D

The computer hadn't had any new hardware or nothing added to it till he got it, so everything is the same as the day it was brought.
