Dell 3008wfp

The PSU on my Dell 3008wfp died (the power button wouldn't light up).

I replaced the PSU with a new one.

Now the monitor does turn on, but it is stuck in color cycling mode and sometimes switches into distorted garbage screen mode.
None of the buttons seem to be doing anything except for the power button. Pressing the MENU button does absolutely nothing.

I tried resetting the monitor by pressing

menu, "+" and power, then "-" or menu

menu, "-" and power then "+" or menu

Unless I am missing a step this doesn't work.

Is there anything else I could try before turning this into a dell rifle target and posting it on youtube?
