Dell Inspiron 3647 Network controller driver Windows 7 32 bit
I have a new Inspiron 3647 desktop that I installed Windows 7 32 bit on.
I cannot get the Network Contoller to do anything. I cannot access any of the wireless functions of the computer.
The id for the device is PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_0036&SUBSYS_020C1028&REV_01
Please advise about drivers for this device.

Dell only offers Win 7 64-bit drivers for this model.
Why Win 7 32-bit? With 32-bit, you won't be able to access more than ~3.2 - 3.5 GB of RAM, no matter how much is installed and you lose a lot of the system's capabilities.
There's a driver for PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_0036&SUBSYS_020C1028 here, but I know nothing about this site, so use at your own risk. Says it's compatible with Inspiron 3647 and supports XP, Vista and 7.

Its best to switch to Windows 7 64 Bit otherwise you limit the systems capabilities. You have a Dell Wireless 1705 Card. Use the following drivers.
