Dell Inspiron 580 problems when it's cold
hey all,
I have a Dell Inspiron 580 desktop that has a major hardware issue when it's cold. It will start up fine and then a few minutes later the screen will go black. If I have a POST cord in the PCI slot when it does this it will go from displaying 00h or AAh to 18h If I reboot it and it's not warm enough yet it will fail to boot, if it's fully warmed up it will be fine all day. What's up here. I got the POST codes from www.intel.com/.../000005500.html

Post codes are not universal across all manufacturers or bios type aka Phoenix, AMI, Award, DTK, MR Bios,
There is no answer for a question asking about that which is not documented anywhere.
Best Guess is failing hard drive and or Ram.
