Dell OptiPlex GX620 HDD Support

Why would you want to do that on a computer model from 2006? XP is no longer supported: read this and won't receive any updates which makes it unsafe for use on the Internet. Put the money towards a newer computer. Cloning to a larger drive requires special software and you would wind up spending more money than the old computer is worth.

I've got the software and have used it b4 (EASEUS TODO).  and was just hoping for an answer to my question.   Can I get one?  Will this computer support a transfer from its 160G SATA hdd to a new WD Blue 1Tb SATA hdd?

Drives up to 2TB are supported.  Cloning from one drive to the new drive is easily done via Apricorn Drive Wire.

The software that comes with Apricorn Drive wire works fine up to windows 7.  Windows 8 drives cannot be cloned however.

Norton Ghost only works up to 7 also.  The current version of acronis claims to work with windows 8.  The reason I like the drive wire is that you get a bootable CD and dont have to install anything.
