Dell Support is unresponsive

Is there anyone out there who knows a way to get Dell to follow through on their service contract and fix a problem? We've had to repeatedly call Dell the last two months since buying a desktop regarding a software problem. They have repeatedly kept us on the phone for long periods, then said we can't solve it now, we'll call back. They never do.

This is not something that is covered by the basic warranty.

Go to microsoft office-- microsoft office tools-- microsoft office picture manager-- help-- detect and repair-- check restore my shortcuts while repairing.
