What hardware changes did you make to the 2007 Vostro 200 prior to the issue?

* Turn the system off
* Disconnect the power cable from the rear of the system
* Press and hold in the power button for 30 seconds
* Reconnect the power cable
* Attempt to turn the system on

* Power off
* Disconnect the power cable from the system
* Open the case cover
* Disconnect/reconnect every cable and plug you see
* Close the cover
* Reconnect the power cable
* Try to power the system on. If still no go, then some internal part is defective

Remove all memory and cards. Attempt to power on. Hopefully you will get some beep codes. Then add the memory back in. Attempt to power on. etc.

Sometimes this mobo (it's in the Vostro 200, 400 and the Inspiron 530, 530s) needs to have the following procedure performed: unplug the power cord; press and hold the power button for 30 seconds; plug in the power cord; try to boot again. Otherwise, Chris has the right approach.
