Dell Wireless Keyboard - Reassign Buttons? Software?

Hi All,

I have a rt7d40 wireless keyboard and mouse.  I want to change/choose the programs that open when I click the extra buttons on the keyboard.  I can't seem to find any software on my XPS 600, nor am I finding anything with my service tag for downloading (It only offers Bluetooth).

Any help would be great.  I am looking to change the calculator that opens when I click the calculator button, to be exact :)

Frumpy Jones,

We have not tested this but, you might try Keyboard Launchpad.

Yeah.  That didn't work.  There is a line of buttons atop my keyboard.  The first 5 are browser related (back, forward, stop, refresh, home), the last three are MAIL, MY COMPUTER and CALCULATOR.

When you press any one of these buttons, something happens.  I.E. MY COMPUTER launches.

On my Microsoft Keyboard at work, I have an app that will let me re-assign these buttons to whatever I wish.

I figure I should of gotten software with this keyboard, but I can't find it in my Dell Disks anywhere.

I really need support for this thing.  DId Dell just stop acknowledging the existence of this keyboard?

Frumpy Jones,

This is the only dell driver I could find for the RT7D40 keyboard.

Others say use the IntelliType Pro 5.2 Keyboard Software.
