Digital Camera, Windows ME and Dell Computer
I'm having a problem installing my new Sony Digital Camera. I install the
USB drivers for the camera as per camera instructions connect the camera to
my Dell Dimension 8100 running Windows ME computer and all is well to this
point. I turn the camera on and I receive this blue screen error message.
"There is a problem with system file. Windows might not be able to run
correctly. You might be able to fix this problem, Try reinstalling Windows.
VxD dynamic link call: NTMAPHLP (02) + 00000002 to 00 4F, Service 1.
To continue running Windows, Choose Yes. Be aware that your computer might
become unstable.
To Quit Windows, choose NO. You will lose any unsaved information. Do you
want to continue running Windows Yes or No"
When I choose no another blue screen error message appears. "Invalid VxD
dynamic link call to device number 4F, Service 74. Your Windows
configuration is invalid. Run Windows setup program again to correct this
problem. System Halted."
Anyone have any ideas on this problem I installed the camera on my old
Windows 98SE computer with no problems.
Any input is greatly appreciated

Your case might be different because my friend uses a Sony memory stick reader allocated as the G: drive and not the camera directly.
