YoungDLB,

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.

I looked up your system service tag number to see which network card is installed in your system. Click the title below to download the Network Driver for computer.

Did you install the chipset drivers? That is a common mistake. It is here.

I'm running into a similar problem but it's my entire chipset.  I had to reinstall Windows XP on a Dell Dimesion 2400.  I dowloaded the chipset drivers but when I try to run the program I get the following error:

"R47822.exe Entry Point Not Found  The procedure entry point lstrcatA could not be located in the dynamic link library kernel32.dll"

It refuses to start the program.  I tried to get just the ethernet driver to see if I could at least get that going but it gives the same error.  What is this lstrcat?

I'm stuck. :(

It sounds like you have a windows problem. Maybe you need to run the system file check. You can go to Start/Run and type "sfc /scannow" without the quotes. It might ask you to insert your Windows CD if it finds a file has been changed.

Thank you, I will try that this evening.  I've been trying to help out a friend and it's been frustrating. :)
