Dimension 4100 looses contect to keyboard
Once in while my PC looses any contact with the keyboard. I have to reboot the PC (I get a "checksum error GPNV")
and enter the BIOS, before I can go on. I have tried 3 different keyboards, and three different BIOS versions. It happens both in Win98 and WinXP.
After a few weeks with these problems, I yesterday had a total crash of the motherboard for the second time!!!
The PC is not able to boot at all (no beep sound - 2 green and 2 yellow lights). I tried to change RAM - no use.
The first time the Dell technician changed my motherboard. Now I have to call him again.
SupportCenter is not able to help me. any ideas out there?
