Dimension 4600 Error Help

I recently upgraded my dimension 4600 with a RAM upgrade from crucial technology and i get the blue screen that says Multiple_IRP_Complete_Requests. Anyone has an idea how to fix this?

Remove the new RAM and see if the problem goes away? Reverify that you have the proper RAM for your system. If, the system checks good again, reinstall the new RAM modules in the RAM ports of the existing RAM modules. Does it still get the blue screen?

Okay, just so I'm clear... Is your memory upgrade, adding to the existing memory modules or, replacing the existing memory modules?

He also needs to do as you've suggested and pull the old RAM (temporarily) and place the new RAM in the SAME sockets as the old.

If it doesn't blue screen, then it may be the 2nd channel sockets, not the new RAM......good idea.
