Disable Intel HD in Vostro 270
I have a dedicate card GT 730. But after install, my computer still so 3.87 GB usable when i check in My computer -> Properties. How I can disable shared RAM to Intel HD?

Hi Doikhacthanh,
Since RAM is shared with the onboard video dynamically, when the onboard graphics are disabled, virtually none of it will be used. How much physical RAM do you have?

Yah, i know its because onboard video. But i cant find how to disable it in bios. I have 4 GB RAM. Do you know anyway to disable onboard by software?

I don't think there is a BIOS setting ... those sandybridge CPUs automatically shut down the onboard graphics when a GPU card is plugged into the system
your system isn't going to see any performance difference between 4gb and 3.8 gb ... and that is assuming the system is even reporting RAM usage correctly. You will see a bit of a difference between 4gb and 8gb

So how about if i re-install windows? Can it be 4 GB if i dont install GPU driver?

You never get the shared ram back even with a GPU. So if you have 8 gigs of ram it will have 7.87GB useable with 64 bit OS.

No it can NEVER be 4 or 8 Gig.
The shared memory NEVER comes back.
