The message seems to indicate that it wants you to restart cleanmgr.exe. I was unable in my search to find any reference to a cleanmgr error log, however, if you use the Find function (Start|Find|Files or Folders) to look for *.log created on today's date you may be able to find the error log it referred to, which should open in Notepad or WordPad.
Your post indicated that the program itself never actually ran--the error occurred when you selected the drive to clean. It is possible that cleanup.exe has become corrupted. If so, you can reload a fresh copy (assuming you are running Windows 98) by going to System File Checker (Start|Run, type SFC and click OK) and telling SFC to extract one file (cleanmgr.exe) from the installation disk and install it in C:\Windows.

I am running the Window 2000. About the error log...after I wrote the first message, I went to Start|Run to type cleanmgr.exe and I got another error log message like this:
Explorer.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program. An Error log is being created.
This apparent very serious to me. I can't run the Start|Run.
Please help or I will have to call Dell. I hate call Dell...because I don't want to stay on the line and waiting, waiting for the next available tech support, etc.
