Does OptiPlex 780 SFF/USFF DisplayPort support Audio?

"Display Port can support audio." But its 2 pin Digital not analog.

Optional 8-channel audio with sampling rates up to 24 bit 192 kHz, encapsulation of audio compression formats. There are no HDCP options however meaning if the stream is encrypted (Blueray) etc it will not play.

How do you know that it does not carry sound? What evidence to you have to support your answer?

By your own admission, you don't have an OptiPlex 780 SFF or USFF.

I'm not dell engineering and I don't have a 780 so I predict that the OPTION is not there at all.

I recommend Turtle Beach Audio Advantage Amigo II USB Sound Card

Its plug and play no drivers to find.
