Does Optiplex 745 motherboard/BIOS support VT?
I have a Optiplex 745 with a Core 2 Duo E4400 processor. I'm hoping to upgrade the processor to one that supports VT. Since the E4400 doesn't support VT I can't verify that the motherboard or BIOS actually supports VT. Does the Optiplex 745 motherboard or BIOS support VT?

P.S. - Yes, I do have the latest BIOS installed (2.6.4).

Dell™ OptiPlex™ 745 Tech Specs
Its Listed under the Processor Specs for E6XXX series CPU's.
No QUAD Cores.
I would only try this with the TOWER version with 305W power supply.
Supports EMT64, EIST, and VT with E6XXX series CPU.

Well a quick Google search reveals some of the ultra small form factor versions of the Optiplex 745 were factory built with E6700's so that means my small form factor has to be compatible with any of the 1066 MHz FSB E6X00's (e6300, e6320, e6400, e6420, e6600, e6700) since it's PSU has more power.
