Error message when running recording software

Question

I have a Dimension C521 and have installed Cool Edit Pro (multitrack recording studio software) and get the following 2 error messages when trying to run it. 'This application has failed to start because WMVCore2.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem.' 'Error 126 Loading FLT File wma2.flt' I have tried re-installing and get the same message. Any guesses? I'm not at all familiar with .DLL or .flt Thanks.

Sounds like the program is not Vista compatible.  Check with the Cool Edit site for any updates or a Vista version.
