Expanding Start Menu/Programs Automatically

How can I set Windows ME to expand the Programs list under the Start button instead of showing me a partial list then having to push the arrow below the short list to see all the programs when I select Programs. When I first started using my computer it asked me if I didn't like that format that I could change it. Of course I didn't pay any attention to it then, now I'm screwed. Please advise.
Thanks

Right-click on the taskbar and select "Properties...".
Uncheck the box labelled "Use Personalized Menus".
Click OK.

I think what you are looking for is: right click taskbar/properties/advanced/then check or uncheck 'scroll programs' as you prefer it.

You may be right--that's another setting that defaults to the more annoying of its two states--but the wording of the original post sounds more like Personalized Menus to me. This "feature", found in Win2K, WinME, and Off2K, shows only the most recently/frequently used items when you first open a menu; hovering over or clicking on a double chevron at the bottom expands the menu.

Thanks, unchecking the "Use personalized Menus" has done the trick. Thanks for the help.
