GPU load balancing?

Question

I'm kind of tripping on my dual set up of video cards, perhaps someone out there can shed some light on my dilemma .... when I have the sli enabled and watching anything thru media center I'm getting a great deal of static thru the system maybe even endangering my speakers and the video will go blank progressively from bottom to top. If after that I move the mouse or use the remote then the video will come back gradually from top to bottom. I don't understand why this is and so when I activated the the gpu load balancing feature (nvidia) the horizontal green line went straight to the bottom, when I tried to play video games the horizontal line stays at the bottom, am I wrong in thinking that the line should be in the middle? I disable the SLI when I use the media center, when they are in SLI I have problems with media center. I pretty much have the same system as you.

I have just posted something similar to your problem, as I too have problems when just playing two different games. Is or isn’t it the graphics card or just the monitor?

What should I do, if I disable the SLI???

As the problem is the green thin bar across the screen and the other one is the left hand side vertical…

I found some success with going to the frequently asked questions section of the video forum, followed the directions verbatum and downloaded the newest drivers from nvidia. I still have an issue with starting FARCRY sometimes, rebooting takes care of that and gameplay is seemless, very nice. So disabling the sli configuration worked but did not make me happy.......
