Are you putting the motherboard in a new case or just repairing the on/off switch? Without wishing to tell you what you might allready know, are you aware that standard ATX PSUs don't work with a GX110.....?
Many thanks - that's very helpful. No I wasn't aware that the GX110 does not work with a standard ATX PSU - that explains alot. Would still in any event like to know the control panel pin assignments should you happen to know them? Once again, many thanks.
The GX110 uses proprietary power also. You can short the pson AND GROUND pins on the psu to get it to come on.
The Proprietary Wiring is on dell Part Number 9228C
Dell Part#: 9228C 200 watt 3 volt, 20.6p 1.2a power supply for the Dimension 4100, Dimension XPS B, R, and T; Optiplex E1, G1, NX1, GX1p, GXa, Optiplex GX1, GX100, GX110, and GX200 Minitower and Medium Desktop Chassis.
strange, all we use is standard ATX PSU's, the only trick part is the adapter harness for the GX 100 and GX110's. The standard ATX PSU plugs right into the GX 150, and I've used the same PSU on Biostar, Gigabyte, ASUS, and some generic chinese motherboards.

the PSON and ground pins on the 20 pin connector. You can solder wires to the adaptor to make a power on button. The Adaptor uses 20 pins end to end.
