GX150 Optiplex

I have a Dell GX150 Optiplex and I need to upgrade from the onboard video.

Do I need a AGP or PCI card and as I need a low profile version can anyone tell me what they have installed.

I have the low profile black case version of the GX150

Thanks for any help

You can install a low-profile AGP video card. There are several available.

There is a low-profile one that Dell sells.

"Thanks for using Delltalk. I apologize for the confusion.
This is the highest quality, low profile agp video card that Dell sells:
GeForce4 MX nv17part # 9P303
Open your case and verify that you have the agp slot on your motherboard.
Please call Dell Spare Parts (800-372-3355) to order this video card."

Note that there are other Dell low-profile AGP cards but they are not the best.

Also, take a look at http://www.newegg.com for any low-profile AGP cards.

Waddle,

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum (DCF).
This system has one AGP slot and two PCI slots.

Waddle,

The PCI slots are white while the AGP is brown.

Service Tag is 4NDDJ11
I have had to reformat the hard drive and setup Windows 2000 again and do not have correct Video. The GX150 Optiplex systems we ordered and received have the AG something card (with Y cable, one digital, the other analog blue, which we use with CRT).
The Dell OptiPlex ResourceCD says it does not have the video driver on it.
I think what I need is called "AGi" (red letters and icon).
Where / how do I get it and how do I set it up?
Each time I boot up the system in Windows 2000 and the "Discovered new hardware" (video) comes up, I just cancel but the display looks like mush for graphics. Text (like this) is fine.
How to do what I need is important because I have another four or five systems in the same condition and would like to deploy all (on higher education campus).

You can get all the drivers for the onboard video, audio, chipset, etc, here:
