That's a bit amusing to me, given that I bought my 8800 GTS through Dell's accessories department. Hah.

It (8800) is significantly more powerful, read some reviews the difference is huge and the higher resolution you go the more powerful it shows.
Plus the biggest change is you can run high levels of AA at lower res.
If you don't have a powerful CPU and or play at very high res, then reviews say it's probably not worth getting until the lower priced versions come out.
I think its Tomhardware that came out with a good one about it.

There is alot of confusion concerning this. We do sell the 8800 GTS on our 3rd party Accessories page. BUT, we sell many 3rd party products on this page that we do NOT test. Support for 3rd party products fall to the 3rd party manufacturer. We do not test these devices in our labs. We sell them as a perk for those manufacturers. We have only tested the Dell/NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX video card.
Does that help clear up the confusion?
