Getting into Bios on XPS 8700 to enable multi-display
All,
I just bought an XPS 8700 with onboard and extra video card. I want to run multiple monitors, either from both cards - HDMI and Display port, or from the add-in video card - HDMI and VGA.
I believe I need to go into the BIOS to enable multidisplay, but despite trying a dozen times, I can't seem to get F2 to work before it boots past the Dell logo and loads up Windows 7 Premium.
Any thoughts?

You can run multiple monitors by enabling Intel Multi-Display option in BIOS setup. That allows you to use both the onboard video outputs (HDMI and DP) and outputs on the add-in video card.
Power the system off, then power on and IMMEDIATELY press F2. That should get you into BIOS setup. You have press F2 as soon as you power on, especially if the OS is on an SSD.
