Hard Drive Failed during ePSA test - Not booting. Error Code: 0150

Hi guys,

Brand new desktop computer, purchased in September. Been having issues with it almost consistently since delivery.

Same issue every time; fails to boot or tries to boot over ipv4 & 6 (or something like that).

Ran ePSA test today, it says no Hard Drive and provided Error Code 2000-0150. I didn't see any validation code anywhere.

Please help! Can't get anything done!

Always include exact PC model and version of Windows in your posts.

Failing to boot from IPv4 or IPv6 suggests it's trying to boot Windows from a hard drive on a network rather than from the internal hard drive.

  1. Reboot and press F2 to open BIOS setup.
  2. Find and set Onboard LAN Boot ROM to DISabled.
  3. Look for first SATA entry in BIOS. Does it recognize internal boot hard drive correctly?
  4. Look for SATA Mode and set to RAID or AHCI (depending on exact PC model)
  5. Look for Boot Sequence options and set 1st Boot to hard drive connected to first SATA port
  6. When you're done, be sure to save the changes before exiting Setup.

Does it boot correctly now?
