Hi Cachehog,
If you determine your chipset, then it's a simple matter to find a compatible processor. There's a little gadget called CPUID that should do the job.

Thanks for the tip. I'm not sure what to do with the information, though.
Here's the info from CPUID.
Mobo: Dell Inc. 0M017G A00
Chipset: Intel P45/P43 Rev A3
Southbridge: Intel 82801JR (ICH10R)
LPCIO: Fintek F8000
Even if I find a processor that fits the bill, I wonder if virtualization will be supported?
