Sounds like a hardware problem.
I would get support to check this.

Doom3 freezes when installing with many antivirus.
Boot Safe mode and login as administrator to install.

Sounds like a cold solder joint on the motherboard, but I could be wrong. Get it fixed/replaced ASAP!!!! :)

Since this is a new system, contact Dell Tech Support for assistance. If you're within the first 21 days from Dell's invoice date (not the date you received the PC), tell them to take it back and give you a new one. You'll have to be politely insistent to get them to honor the 21-day satisfaction guarantee. Once you pass the 21 days, you're stuck with the system and will have to trouble shoot the problems so act quickly.

Hello!
If I push the keyboard-shift-button while inserting the second and the third disc - Then I'm able to install the game...

Concearning the strange start behavior - I have tried to change to another wall socket but no sucess!

I have also noticed that as long as the computer is warm it starts without problem - But if I leave it for a couple of hours then it's much more difficult...!

Seems that I have to make a phone call to Dell...
