Hello, A question about memory for XPS 630

Question

My son and grandchildren play computer games alot, we are wondering if 1333MHz memory will run on the XPS-630, Dell shows only the 4GB at 800MHz. so is that the max for the 630 or can a 1333 upgrade be made for that machine !

Hi 800 is the max if you buy ram that is any faster its only going to ran at 800 front side buss . The 1333 is only for the CPU front side buss speed . Good Luck

Hi, I think she means there's some DDR2 ram that the manufactor overclock to 1066 or 1333 max. Dell also selles corsair dominator that run at 1066. It only improves the performance a little bit in my experiment.
