Help! Help! Help! SOS!!!!--error message in inspiron 1150
Hi,
I purchased an inspiron 1150 from Dell in 2005. This January, I reinstalled the Win XP home service pak 2 since the computer got slow down. But after reinstallation, the following error message while I was using the computer.
“A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
If this is the first time you’ve seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps: check to be sure you have adequate disk space. If a driver is identified in the stop message, disable the driver or check with the manufacture for driver updates. Try changing video adapter. Check with your hardware vendor for any bio updates. Disable Bios memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer. Press F8 to select advanced start-up options, and then select safe mode
Technical information: ***stop: 0X0000007E( 0XC0000005, 0X808829EC, 0Xf89823F0, 0Xf89820EC) “
This error message occurs again after I restart my computer. I suspect there is virus and reinstall the computer again. But this message even occurs during the reinstallation. I tried to change a new memory card, but does not help.
Now I have spent several weeks to try to install the laptop and I am still been blocked by this stop error message. I need help, SOS!!!!!!!
Thanks for any instruction and suggestion, urgently!!!!!
