Help finding driver for Dell/Logitech Wireless Mouse and Keyboard

Question

I recently had to do a repair install of Windows/XP Home SP3 and am having issues with the Dell/Logitech Wireless Keyboard and Mouse. The keyboard seems to work fine, including the media keys, but when attempting vertical scrolling the screen does not scroll smoothly --- it jumps. The wireless mouse has the following information on it's base --- DP/N: 0T0179  M/N: M-RAC67B. It is part of the package delivered with my original order from Dell .. I have spent the better part of four days trying to find XP drivers to no avail.  I tried the Dell Downloads section, however nothing showed under the drivers presented for the XPS GEN3, also looked at GEN2 and GEN4 with no luck. I tried the Logitech website. Autodetect failed, and I could not locate an image of my particular keyboard/mouse combo. Two questions ... 1) is a driver required for proper operation of the wirless mouse? 2) If yes, where can I go to download the required driver(s) ? I would dearly appreciate any assistance than anyone can offer. Respectfully, VictoriaWayne

Thanks for the tips Ron. The problem turned out to be bad drivers from AMD. I retreated to an earlier Catalyst 11.5 set and everything is now OK.

Open the Mouse control panel and look for options to adjust how it scrolls when using the scroll wheel. Maybe it's set to scroll too many lines at a time so it 'jumps'..??

Did you get a resources CD (or other CD) from Dell with mouse drivers when you purhchased the system?

Did you try searching for drivers using your Service Tag number (don't post it here!)

EDIT: I use a Logitech mouse (though not from Dell) with XP. When I open the Mouse control panel, there's a Wheel tab which can be set to a number of lines per scroll or to whole screen. So play around there.
