What model PC?

Not exactly what you asked, but since this is Win XP, you might want to try the free TweakUI from Microsoft which allows you to set various function keys using its Explorer>Command Keys  menu.

Won't guarantee it'll do what you want... :emotion-5:

have it , and there is no such buttons like my KB have, its seems my pc do not want to know KB. It installed some HID thingsrlly dont know what they are... Example if i take CALK button, and there are 3 actions, non of them works...

But are you sure there are no drivers for that keyboard, if not, i need to find some other ways to get them to work.

Thanks for the help !

Seems like people posted a lot of different fixes for this keyboard at the link in your first post.

The fix by FJSchorr2 on page 5 of that thread seems to have helped a lot of people with this keybard.

not working for me, there is no such place like HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\HidServ\Parameters\ServiceDll

After reading all the posts I found that my keyboard worked after

placing the hidserv.dll file in my winnt\system32 directory

verifying that my registry key for HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\HidServ\Parameters\ServiceDll had type REG_EXPAND_SZ

Setting the Human Interface Device Access service to Automatic

Verifying the Remote Call Procedure service was set to Automatic (some posts said the Remote Call Procedure Locator service had to be started but my keyboard worked with the service disabled).

   rebooting my PC.

When I say "worked" I mean that all buttons and knobs performed the expected functions.  Some posts referred to iTunes or WinAmp, but I don't have those apps.  The volume knob,  the silver buttons worked with Windows Media Player.

Thanks to everyone who followed up and did the leg work to get the answers.

have no hidserv.dll in system32.....

You might want to read this.

And check this too:

  1. Click Start>run
  2. Type in: services.msc
  3. Click OK

Look for Human Interface Devices on the list. Double click it and set its start-up properties to automatic. Then reboot.
