How do I Activate Keyboard Buttons?
DELL STUDIO XPS DESKTOP 435MT
Keyboard--
Model No: L2OU
Ext No: D11
SER No: None
The above keyboard shipped with the computer. The keyboard has 4 buttons
the the top left hand side and 8 buttons on the top right hand side
above the function keys. The buttons have never worked and I can't find
any information regarding activating them.
The buttons have icons on them that indicate what their function should
be. The button icons on the left appear to be menu buttons for...
1. Home Page
2. Email
3. ? something to do with the monitor or display
4. Calculator
The 8 buttons on the right...
1. Advance to the end of media ">/||
2. Stop Play
3. Mute Speaker
4. Lover Volume
5. Increase Volume
6. Return to the beginning of media
7. Fast Forward media
8. A musical note indicating to play music
I would appreciate any information on how to activate these buttons.

Did you program them? This could be a function the Quickset software or you need to go to control panel Keyboards and mice and look to see if there is a pop up for the keyboard.
the first group of button you list would
1 Return you to your internet browers home page
2. Open your email program
3 Access monitor setting most likely
4 Open the calculator appelet.
the next group of buttons would be use with mulitmedia CD/DVD watching or window media.
