How do I find older drivers?

I recently updated Nvidia drivers for my Dell 9150 with Geforce 7600 GT, but since then I can't play Thief 1 or 2. It seems I need to backtrack to a Forceware 8x.xx driver because 9x.xx drivers are incompatible. But how do I find an older driver (the latest 8x.xx probably) that works for my system? The Nvidia website only points you to the latest driver.

They have archives for the older ones, such as here for Win XP:

Yes, but they don't have any 8x.xx driver listed that says that it is compatible with my system. I wonder, what would happen if I use the Windows Device Manager to return to my previous driver?

I'm not an expert in this, but what about this one (am I missing something?):
Just curious...

As for rolling back, perhaps you also have the option of using the System Restore rollback too.

Those will work but so should the 9x.xx drivers.  Were you having issues before the driver update?  If not then please describe your install process.  Are you uninstalling the previous drivers before attempting to install the new drivers?
