How do I install 2 Graphic Cards

My model is DXP061. I plan on setting up 2 monitors and I should have 2 cards for this, BUT, at the back of my pc, all the other "slots" I guess I should call them(I don't really know), are blocked. Is there a way to remove them? It's just some metal blocking the way so I'm scared I will break something that I shouldn't have.

Hi Phrox,

Those are slot covers. It sounds to me like your experience working on computers is fairly limited. You might consider having a local computer shop install your video card.

most modern video cards can run 2 monitors so you will only need one graphic card depending on your system

Those "blocked slots" are known as PCI-E covers (or that's what I call them).  They are very easily removed once you open up your computer case so don't think that as a problem.  If you are going to upgrade your graphics card you need to consider whether your power supply is sufficient enough and since you are planning on using two graphics cards I suggest you check your Dell computer has two PCI-E x16 slots and is compatible with ATi CrossfireX or nVidia SLi (which I doubt unless you have a XPS/Alienware since Dell like giving out rather rubbish motherboards :().  To be honest I would suggest the same, go to a computer shop or get a friend who knows what to do, to do it for you.   I would also recommend you get one of the latest ATi graphics cards instead of nVidia cards as a single ATi card with eyefinity technology can run more than two monitors.   Where as with nVidia you would have to get two nVidia cards to be able to do that.
