How do I move programs to a new PC?

I have an old XPS 710. The machine was originally loaded with Windows XP. I have upgraded to Windows 7 Pro 32 bit. I am thinking about purchasing a new Dell PC (like XPS 9000) with Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. Is there software available to transfer my old programs, like Office 2010, and tons of other software (that all works fine now) to the new PC or must I reinstall all my software - again :(?

You can only transfer files and folders, all programs and applications must be reinstalled from their discs, or downloaded from the the publisher's website.

You need to manually reinstall the programs, also check that none are OEM.

If you don't have all your keys use Belarc Advisor, it gives some of the keys e.g. Office.

There are some links below to some free software which you may be interested in.

Also links to Microsoft Software.

If you can put the latest versions possible on Windows 7 64 bit.
