How to reinstall?

I have Dell Inspiron One 2320. I would like to reinstall the disc of "Drivers and Utilities", how do I do it? Please be specific with your input, I'm a computer idiot so if you don't mind, please give me step by step instructions from beginning to end. For example, do I need to delete the current one in the computer first before attempting to reinstall?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi summer98,

Let me know the reason for the re-installation of the drivers.

You can install the drivers again without uninstalling the previous version. For latest version, you may refer to the link mentioned below for latest drivers:

http://dell.to/15LpPbE

Select the operating system installed and download the latest drivers.

If you are installing the drivers using the disk, refer to the steps mentioned below:

If Autorun is disabled, double-click on the file AUTORCD.exe or AUTORCD to launch the Dell Resource CD installer:

That should start the installer. Read the message and click OK if you agree:

Read the message and click Next:

Click Next in the dialog above will bring you to the main page of the Resource CD.

Select Drivers from the page above will bring you to the main drivers page shown below.

Clicking on any link in the above screen will direct you to another page where specifics of the driver are listed. Clicking in the Extract button will launch the driver installer for this driver:

NOTE: Ensure you install the drivers in correct order. Some drivers may require system to restart after installation.

For information on installing the drivers in correct order refer to the link mentioned below:"

Press F2 go into CMOS.  If the flashing red and green colors are there then its the video card.  You could also go to a store and Buy a Linux magazine with UBUNTU and boot live By Pressing F12 and choose DVD Boot.  If it works you might want to try a new hard drive and reinstall.:emotion-9:

Thank you for trying to help me. My computer is all messed up, sometimes the screen got taken over by flashing red, green and blue colors. Someone said it was caused by a bad video card, but the computer is more than a year old, so, it's probably no longer under factory warranty. I hate to spend any more money on it. So, I'm wondering if I reinstall the operation system, the problem will go away?
