Hyundai Plasma HQP421SR

All,

I have a Dell Dimension 4700 w/ one PCI 16 slot and a Hyundai 42" Plasma which will be used for presentations.  I need to upgrade the video to something better than the integrated video.  All suggestions on a nice video card will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

If you just need to put presentations up on a plasma, but no 3d, just get an ATI Radeon x300 or nVidia geForce 6200 with DVI (assuming the TV has DVI input). I would get whichever was cheaper.

It's been my experience that Nvidia cards work better with my Phillips 42" than ATI cards. You definately want to use the DVI connections as the text will be sharper and easier to read.

Make sure you get a 6200 that has dedicated memory, NOT SUPPORTS. This means no TurboCache.

However, this X300SE is cheaper (128-bit memory http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814123151
