IDT High Definition audio codec problem
Hello I am having the same problem (No Sound - IDT High Definition audio codec problem code 10) I uninstalled it to trouble shoot it and now is completely gone. 1) How do I rectify this - 2) where do I find the sigma tel drivers????? I have a dimension XPS400 with Windows XP.....Please help someone!!!

Your drivers below - Sigmatel is the third one under Audio. Recommend you NOT use the Download Manager option - it's buggy. Choose the second browser option to download it, then double-click to install:

If by chance you're missing drivers because you've reinstalled the operating system, best to get them all in correctly - system software, chipset, then intel storage, audio, video, and network. See the guide below - its a generic list, so many items won't apply.

If you have the older Dell Integrated Audio with SigmaTel, do not use the newer IDT drivers as most times they will not work correctly. The IDT is for newer audio chips.
