Inspiron 3847 Tower GPU compatability

I am looking to purchase an Inspiron 3847 and upgrade the PSU and GPU and I wanted to be sure that this GPU will fit in the PC: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5008#ov

This post shows that you definitely can upgrade the PSU and add a GPU, but I don't know the dimensions of the GPU in the picture and I want to know if my chosen GPU will fit: http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/desktop/f/3514/t/19579639.aspx

The dimensions of the one I am looking at are L=7.95 in W=5.59 in H=1.49 in (L=202mm W=142mm H=38mm)
