Inspiron 530 boot up problem
Hello, my Inspiron 530 uses the DGM3303 foxconn motherboard. It originally used a core2quad 6600 as the CPU, but I took it out and replaced it with a Intel Pentium 4 2.8ghz HT CPU Processor SL7PR LGA 775. For some reason, it won't pass the POST test. The fans turn on, the power supply fan turns on, the motherboard lights up, but I don't hear a beep, and I don't get a screen. Does anyone know how to fix this? I booted up the computer with all the components connected, and booted with only the motherboard, cpu, and psu. I also tried booting up only with the motherboard and power supply. All resulted in a blank screen and no beep.
Also, I was wondering if turning off your S2309W monitor when your idle for 20 minutes is bad for it (power saving settings auto turn it off). Thanks

The P-4 2.8ghz HT CPU Processor SL7PR, socket LGA 775 processor, is not supported by the Inspiron 530.
See HERE
Turning the monitor off after 20 minuties, should not harm it, I have mine set to turn off after one hour.
