That particular PSU is modular so it only has as many as you put on but it comes with 4.

 HOWEVER the card

Is quite Long and therefore may not go all the way down into the slot on a 620.

Card Dimensions     8.25" x 4.38" MAX

The Card in the socket does not LAY FLAT AGAINST THE MOTHERBOARD.

Getting the power adapters in after is impossible imho but you can plug them up BEFORE inserting and then carefully put the card in.

8.6 aka 9 inch cards are a VERY TIGHT FIT.  10 inch Cards are IMPOSSIBLE as are 12 inch cards.  Your card requires 2X 6 pin power connections.

Based on your troubleshooting, the motherboard and its video card slot are fine. Looks like that video card requires two power supply leads. How many power supply leads does the 650w power supply have? Have you tested all available on the video card?

Thanks for your comments and it is indeed a tight fit. But you're overlooking the fact that exactly the same type of card fitted before and ran for 6 months.

Thanks for this. The card  needs two pci 6 pin connectors, which the psu has. I've measured the voltage on the pins on the input sockets and they have the correct 12v under load. I really don't think it's a power problem. I wonder if there's some basic incompatibility between the mboard bios and the card's vbios. Is that possible?
